Why are senior photo sessions important? For many good, valid reasons. Let’s start with: The photos will always be the reminder of that nostalgic transition from a dependent teenager to an independent adult. It’s a farewell wave to being under parents wings and a welcome embrace to flying on their own. A celebration of a major milestone accomplishment in their lives. MAYAN ROOTS

Malia was born and raised in the United States but a part of her is rooted to our beloved Belize. Her history is connected to original Mayan ancestry. This inspired her and her mother to book a senior photo session in Belize while on their summer visit. Location had to be something with a Mayan backdrop; what could be better than Stone Lady, Xunantunich? They booked a date, i applied for the required permit, we planned the session and the rest is….photographs below
